Facebook Launched New Application
The Facebook inc launched a new standalone application videoconferences Messenger for desktop, Windows and macOS systems.
Video conferencing applications, such as Zoom, Webex and Teams, are experiencing the latest explosive growth, due to the pandemic of coronavirus and the need for mass teleworking, telecommunications, telemedicine and online communication from home in general.

As Facebook announced, in March there was a more than 100% increase in Messenger use for video calls and headphones. The new applications for Windows and macOS provide additional features for’ desktop users, which will be able to do unlimited group video conferencing on a large screen for free.
Those who interested can “download” the new applications from the Microsoft Store and Mac App Store.
Chats will be synchronized automatically with the desktop via the corresponding mobile app. The mobile app Facebook Messenger was released in 2011 and had extra video calling capabilities in 2016.
