Cloning one or more hard drives is a process that over the years has been widely accepted by both professionals and ordinary PC users.

In essence, this is how we manage to make an exact copy of our operating system, not just to move our data from an old hard drive to a new one without having to reinstall our operating system and favourites programs.

For example, if we want to add an SSD drive or a new hard drive to our laptop, all we have to do is just use it that way and move our operating system to our new drive.

From then on, either we remove the old HD and replace it with the new one or simply through the Bios we change the boot mode in such a way that at the start of our computer the first boot device sees our new drive.

DriveClone is one of the most popular programs that can help us achieve our goal, automatically cloning your entire operating system or your entire hard drive including system files, applications, document photo music files, and Partitions documents.

But what makes DriveClone different from other cloning applications is that it not only clones your data, but also gives you the ability to resize partitions, block files from cloning, defrag the entire system, and remove temporary files.

It can do other interesting things, such as cloning and converting your hard drive into VM (Virtual Machine Files) files that you can run with any VMware Workstation virtual machine. However, we will now focus only on cloning.

STEPS

1. Starting Cloning a Hard Disk, After Running the Program, Select One Time Cloning

2. Select the Partition or hard disk you want to clone and the program will automatically select the hard disk drive with the corresponding capacity, however, if you have multiple disks or partitions on your computer click on the file you want to transfer and click Next.

3. In the next tab you will see that the program has two cloning modes, (rapid cloning) and (normal cloning), the difference being that the first one is much faster, but the second one though slower due to the defrag will result in your new drive being free of the hassle effect, which simply means that your new hard drive will perform optimally.

4. Finally, before you start after making sure you have not made a mistake, press the start button to start cloning.

This version is completely free, without any limitations, although some features are missing in the full version, for the feature, we described you will have no issues.
