Lost Your NSCDC Application Code? Here’s How You Can Retrieve It

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) has started shortlisting candidates for their computer-based screening tests. However, many applicants have misplaced or forgotten their NSCDC Application Number, a crucial component for accessing the NSCDC Shortlisted Candidates and the screening test portal at cdcfib.career. This guide provides assistance for such candidates, particularly those who have misplaced their NSCDC Acknowledgement Slip, are uncertain about their application ID, or forgotten their application code.

The NSCDC Application Code is a distinctive 16-digit number assigned to each candidate during the online recruitment registration process. Without this code, candidates cannot access the NSCDC portal for either shortlisting verification or participation in the computer-based screening test for recruitment.

The acknowledgement slip obtained after successful application submission during the 2023 NSCDC recruitment contains this application code. If candidates have forgotten or lost this code, they can retrieve it by referring back to the acknowledgement email sent upon successful application submission.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), through which the application was submitted, does not assist in code retrieval, emphasizing its expectation of seriousness and responsibility from the candidates. Logging into the NSCDC CDCFIB portal requires the application code, email address, phone number, and date of birth. The portal link is https://www.cdfipb.careers.
