How to delete the Windows old folder in Windows 10
If you have installed Windows 10 on your computer as an upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 you probably have noticed that in the disk that has been installed beside the Windows folder there is another folder named Windows old which contains files and folders from our previous operating system which, besides being useless, also occupy very much space on our hard disk.
However, there is a way to delete them after following the simple steps below.
STEPS
1. Type in the search icon in the Windows taskbar the word Disk Cleanup and click to run the application.
2. In the next field, select the disk that you have installed on Windows, click OK and wait for the application to analyze the files to be deleted.
3. Click the System File Cleanup option and in the window that opens, select the disk that has windows installed again.
4. Once the application parses the disk it will display a table of contents to be deleted, find it now and uncheck the previous windows installation checkbox and click OK . and then in the deletion confirmation popup, click the delete files button. That was, wait now until the app deletes the contents you have selected.
