NCPWD STORMS KARMAJIJI PUT SMILE ON 500 FACES

The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities and the Fed Min of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development  have taken a significant step forward in addressing the challenges faced by people with disabilities in the Karmajiji community. 

The distribution of 500 health insurance cards to people with disabilities is a significant milestone in improving access to quality healthcare services. The Executive Secretary has emphasized the importance of quality healthcare services for people with disabilities, and the distribution of health insurance cards is a great way to help them access the care they need.

The Permanent Secretary  of Fed Min of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Disaster Management and Social Development, Dr Nasir Sani Gwarzo has also expressed his happiness at the positive developments he has seen in the disability communities, which has given renewed hope to persons with disabilities in the area. He has also appealed to people with disabilities not to sell the land they were awarded by the previous administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. 

In addition, the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities and the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development are taking steps to address the educational challenges faced by children and adults with disabilities in the Karmajiji community. Education and skill empowerment are crucial for people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.

The disability colony in Karmajiji has expressed its appreciation to the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities and the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development for taking up the responsibility of addressing the educational challenges of children and skill empowerment of adults in the area.
