In a recent development, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have provided an important update for individuals who applied for recruitment in 2023.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board, through its spokesperson Anthony Akuneme, has instructed applicants to visit the board’s online portal and verify the status of their applications.
Prospective candidates who applied for positions with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) are requested to access the board’s portal at cdcfib.career. Here, they can check if their applications were successful and proceed to print their invitation letters.
To proceed with the recruitment process, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled for Thursday, May 18th, 2023, across all states. It is mandatory for applicants to arrive at their designated centers no later than 6:30 am for accreditation.
Moreover, applicants must bring along the original and photocopies of identification documents such as the National Identification Slip (NIN Slip), International Passport, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License to their respective centers.
It is of utmost importance that candidates strictly adhere to the instructions outlined in their invitation letters to ensure a smooth and successful recruitment process.
